Yellow Ribbon National Road Safety Week (NRSW) is an annual initiative in Australia and New Zealand designed to raise awareness of the importance of road safety through community events and the lighting of iconic structures.
With a theme of Drive So Others Survive (SOS), the initiative is supported by Governments, road safety organisations and businesses across both countries. As a Founding Principal Partner of National Road Safety Week in Australia and a proud member of the Yellow Ribbon Alliance in New Zealand, RSE works tirelessly with Governments, our corporate partners and communities to effect change.
Road Safety Education Limited is a member of the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety.
The Alliance is a collection of nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that implement programs and lobby for road safety initiatives around the world. The Alliance believes that NGOs can fill government gaps by providing immediate solutions, or they can influence decision making through advocacy and education. They play a vital role in the growing worldwide movement to reduce the devastating effects of traffic injuries. With interventions based on evidence for what works, our NGOs help save lives.
The Alliance was established in 2011 by NGO members of the United Nations Road Safety Collaboration (UNRSC) and currently represents more than 300 member NGOs working in road safety from more than 100 countries around the world.
