Supporting Excellence

Partner Schools Award recognises a commitment to road safety education

The Supporting Excellence in Road Safety Education logo is available to download from our Partner School portal. By placing this logo on your school website and linking it to rse.org.au, the school will be providing an eloquent message to parents and the broad community that your school has made a real commitment to road safety education.

Road Safety Education Limited has recently established the Partner School award to recognise high schools that share our commitment to excellence in road safety education. Under the banner of Supporting Excellence – Trust the Tick, the initiative is designed to contribute to a change in culture towards road safety education in high schools and increase awareness about the importance of providing students with a road safety program that ticks all the boxes for a best practice program.

Importantly the Supporting Excellence – Trust the Tick logo will be a point of reference for parents seeking to ensure that their local school is demonstrating a commitment to quality road safety education. This year around 400 committed schools have received the award, which recognises their ongoing participation in the RYDA Program for senior students.

Qualifying schools receive a Partner School certificate that prominently incorporates the Supporting Excellence – Trust the Tick logo. The logo is available to these Schools for use on their website. Schools are also given exclusive PIN protected access to additional teacher resources on the RSE website.

My daughter went to the course at Homebush yesterday and was very impressed. The training was just great – all the limits we have put on her, and the way we’ve taught her to drive, all came into play and she could see the reasons for our ‘control’…I did hours of commentary drives with her, which has shown her where and what to look for. In the past she’s bucked us about our refusal to let her get in the car with other p platers, now she says there’s no way she would. Job done! Great job, thank you, the impact on the girls was huge.
